- Malta is 1 hour from Italy and around 40 minutes from Tunisia. It strategic position at the center of Mediterranean trade routes has given its culture and gastronomy a wide arry of influences giving way to unique local delicacies such as Kinnie, Cisk, and the famous pastizzi, the national snack.
